Care Instructions

The easiest way to clean our fleeces is to give them a good shake to remove dust and debris.
Wool is naturally moisture repellent so if a spillage occurs use a towel to gently lift the liquid off the wool surface.

Our fleeces are hand washable and you can also machine wash on a gentle wool cycle (20 degrees max, 600rpm spin max). If you need to clean your sheep fleece place it inside a duvet cover, use a small amount of wool detergent, and then let it drip dry flat. To remove excess water you can roll the fleece between two towels, this works really well for those larger pieces!

To keep the rug's shape stretch it out gently whilst still damp. Depending on the lock length and density it may take a few days to dry. We suggest washing when the weather will be favourable as there’s nothing more lovely than a sheep fleece dried in the summer breeze!
